This was the worst service we have received at any restaurant. We have been coming to Norfolk for years from Columbus to Big Red and have never had this poor service and lack of care from the wait staff from Big Red or anywherw. We finally walked out as it shouldn't take that long for a brownie sundae, he never did receive the free dessert he earned. I was able to stagger my days and hours and sometimes worked at Brothers which was an upscale bar on Farnam Street and also at the Peony Park Keno. My husband completed the big red challenge and we waited on his free dessert for 20 to 25 minutes. My husband and daughter had to finish my water as we never got refills after being there for close to 2 hours. He never asked if we wanted more water or never checked on our how our food was. the kitchen hallway for a lot of that time as the rest of the staff was running around. We sat there for 45 minutes to wait for our food without him coming to check on us.
